Forbes has compiled a list of hollywood's top earning actresses for the past year 2010. Though these top earning hollywood actresses has made a lot if compared to their previous figures, but very less when compared to their male counterparts. The top earning actress is almost 2.5 times short of the earnings made by her top male counterpart. This shows that not only just bollywood, it is everywhere including hollywood, that actresses/ models earns less than their male performers.

The hollywood's top earning actress for the past year is Angelina Jolie, the live-in partner of Brad Bitt. Angelina Jolina has made a total of $27 million in the last year. The next to Angelina Jolie is Jennifer Aniston who made $25 million in the similar period. Interestingly Jennifer Aniston is the ex-wife of Brad Pitt who is now in relationship with Angelina Jolie.

Comparing the income of both of these two top earning hollywood actresses, where most of the income for Angelina Jolie came from her share in the movie "Wanted" and her role in the film "Salt", most of the income for Jennifer Aniston came from her romantic comedy "Marley and Me" and her upcoming movie "The Baster". There is not much difference between the earnings of the two.
